Ainslie ist the first semi-serif font family from type foundry insigne. Designer Jeremy Dooley originally developed the Ainslie typeface for the Canberra Australia Centennial Typeface Competition. A purely geometric scheme is the basis for the Ainslie typeface. This semi-serif font family incorporates influences from Canberra and surrounding areas, which makes it uniquely Australian. Ainslie blends Canberra’s geometric design with the organic and flowing effect of aboriginal art. The font family is packed with lots of alternates, which can be accessed in any OpenType-enabled application. Ainslie also includes several capital swash alternates, old style figures, and small caps.
