True North, a set of vintage typefaces inspired buy good old North America.
The two font designers Cindy Kinash and Charles Gibbons of foundry Cultivated Mind have created True North, a collection of vintage inspired typefaces consisting 17 styles including a monoline script, different headline fonts, and a range of labels, extras, and a free set of banners. The extras include several catchwords, numbers, symbols, and illustrations of animals, tools, as well as maple leaves and trees. All fonts and graphics are deeply inspired by the good old Northern America.
In contrast to the strong headline fonts, True North Script is a playful and fully-connected monoline script typeface that comes with different ligatures and alternate forms. This beautiful set of vintage typefaces is equipped with an extended character set and OpenType features to offer a more natural hand-lettering look.
