Thirty years after its first publication, the Serbian calligrapher and type designer Jovica Veljović has developed the ITC New Veljovic Pro font family, which is a completely revised version based on his first typeface design, originally created in 1984. He used all his experience, which he acquired over the past decades in order to develop this new version with improved proportions and a more harmonious presence. In addition, he shortened the serifs a little, while the letters became slightly more condensed. The double-story “g” with a completely closed loop as well as the more open forms of the “c” and “e” are some of the new typographic features.
The ITC New Veljovic font family is well suited for any kind of contemporary applications. Thanks to a well kerning, the typeface is easy to read, even in very small texts. In large-headings you can see the crystal-clear shapes of the ITC New Veljovic Pro font family.
