Calligrapher Yani Arabena has drawn the Quotes fonts in 2015. Thereafter, Guille Vizzari and Ale Paul have digitized the handmade letters to produce this typeface in two styles (script, caps) for foundry Sudtipos.
Using a pointed brush, Yani Arabena wanted to create a typeface in two handwriting styles, which work best for spontaneous messages and phrases. The Script and Caps versions complement each other perfectly! Both styles share a similar rhythm and hand painted look. The uppercase system offers lots of alternate glyphs, ligatures, and connectors. The script version is also equipped with a variety of alternate signs as well as ligatures.
