Steradian, a new geometric font family from Emtype Foundry.
Designed by Eduardo Manso in 2018 for Emtype Foundry, Steradian is a fine example of a geometric font family that can be used for a wide range of typographic applications whether print or on screen. Thanks to its geometric base, the widths between all letters are almost the same across the weights. You may say “not another geometric sans-serif”, but Steradian truly stands out from basic fonts of this genre. For instance, this typeface comes with a double-story ‘a’. Its closed apertures and a few capitals offer a distinct and unique personality (such as the letters ‘G’ or ‘Q’).
The Steradian font family is equipped with 8 weights ranging from thin to black plus matching Italics for each weight resulting in a family of 16 styles. You can use it for poster design, editorials, signage, branding, web design, just to name a few. To learn more about this new family, please follow the links below. By the way, the whole family is currently available as a discounted introductory offer at MyFonts and Fontspring.
