Campora, a stylish font family that combines sharp, geometric design with a wide range of revolutionary ligatures.
Earlier in 2019, the team of W Foundry attended the Bologna Children’s Book Fair in Italy. In their days off, they walked through the streets of Piazza Maggiore and luckily they saw an eye-catching store sign saying CAMPORA. After some closer investigations, they found out that it was made using the Dynamo font. They really loved the look of the typeface and thus they decided to develop a new font family inspired by its distinctive geometric design while adding some more weights and OpenType features to make it a fully functional family for different typographic needs. Already in the early stages of development, they found out that both Dynamo and Avant Garde share a quite similar design structure. Hence, they decided to make a type mashup including the sharpness of Dynamo combined with the striking ligatures of Avant Garde. The result is Campora, a new font family consisting of 19 styles including a regular and classic version as well as an inline version. The numerous weights make it a versatile font family, which is well suited for display use. To learn more, just have a look below or click on one of the following links.
