Grottel, a modern grotesque sans serif font family by Rebecca Hurst of The Northern Block Ltd.
The Grottel font family has been published in 2014 by The Northern Block Ltd. Rebecca Hurst, a type designer from Great Britain has created this modern grotesque sans serif typeface. Grottel follows the philosophy of original grotesque fonts with the addition of an enhanced look to ensure a unique personality. Its special details are the result of a meticulously accurate tuning as well as a type design focusing on functionality and usability mixed with the aesthetic of 19th century typefaces.
The Grottel font family consists of 5 weights including more than 400 characters in order to support all European languages. Thanks to Rebecca Hurst’s manually edited kerning, the family provides great legibility. In addition, the Grottel font family is equipped with a full set of ligatures as well as alternative letters to allow you to add more personality to the typeface. This is a great font for headlines and subtitles on posters, signage or in magazines. For additional information, just follow the link below.
